We believe jewelry should be loved and worn every day. Having said this, we do recommend taking off your jewelry when sleeping, swimming, gardening, lifting weights or coming in contact with chemicals. It’s important to clean your jewelry frequently, store it properly and inspect its condition often.
Most jewelry can be cleaned with a gentle soap, warm water and a clean, very soft toothbrush. Dry with a clean, soft cloth. Knotted, strung pearls and gemstone beads should be laid flat to dry completely before wearing. Beads and pearls that are frequently worn may require yearly restringing.
Jewelry should be stored separately in clean soft pouches or boxes to avoid contact with each other and protect them from dirt and light.
Overtime moving parts like bails, earring components and clasps may loosen. Please be sure to inspect your jewelry carefully before wearing.
Layering your jewelry is fun but please layer carefully. When jewelry rubs or knocks into each other the gold and gemstones can become scratched or damaged. Avoid situations where a hard gemstone like a diamond, sapphire or ruby would rub against soft gemstones like turquoise or pearls.
