These incredibly rare pearls are only found in the Queen Conch in the blue waters of the Caribbean. It’s estimated that a pearl forms in one of every 10,000-20,000 shells with pearls of
gem quality being ever scarcer. They have never been commercially cultured, meaning our conch pearls are complete triumphs of nature.

Conch pearls don’t have the luster like the pearls we are most familiar with. Instead, they have a unique makeup that may cause them to exhibit a shimmering effect known as “flame”. 

The most prized examples are bright pink, but Leigh Maxwell celebrates the full range of colors available from soft, sandy beige to peach and pink, and even pearls that exhibit a two tone ombre effect.
