Our Opening Bails

At Leigh Maxwell we love to play with our jewelry and customize how we wear it. The opening bails on our pendants offer limitless styling opportunities.

Our opening bails allows you to easily clip our pendants onto our chains, the toggle of our beaded necklaces, our leather cords, or a chain bracelet. They also integrate easily with your existing jewelry collection. Their versatility makes them perfect for gifting.

A great place to start is with a pendant and one of our chains. Our Small Handmade Chain in 18” is our best selling chain. Then the collecting begins. Maybe add another pendant (or two) to wear on your chain or give your pendant a whole new look with a colorful strand of beads, or casual texture with a leather cord. Try a different chain like our Good Gold Chain, Amani Ring Necklace or Large Handmade Chain. Start layering and stacking to find the looks that you love!

A few words of advice: While our opening bails are safe and secure, we recommend that you inspect the moving parts regularly to make sure they are in good shape and fasten tightly. Never force the hinge beyond its normal range. When not being worn, store your pendants with the bail completely shut in a soft pouch where it will be protected from rubbing against other jewelry.
