About Leigh Maxwell
Hand crafted in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Leigh Maxwell jewelry is committed to the creation of designs showcasing the natural beauty of brilliant, precious gemstones. The warm touch of solid 18kt gold is combined with natural gemstones in simple, yet elegant designs, blurring the line between everyday luxury and special occasion wear. Our pieces are to be worn and treasured as reminders of special milestones or relationships. Our jewelry becomes a signature piece, cherished for generations.
Due to our commitment to meticulous craftsmanship and use of natural gems, our pieces are in limited production, making each one as unique as the woman who wears it.
We use only natural gemstones (formed miraculously in the earth, not a in lab). The gemstones may be untreated or treated by common industry processes. We value transparency and so disclose treatments on the gemstones we use.
Jennifer Maxwell
Wanderlust and a passion for ethically sourced gemstones serve as the driving force behind the designs of Leigh Maxwell Jewelry. At Leigh Maxwell, hand selected precious gemstones are wrapped in the warmth of satin finished gold creating luxuriously casual jewelry that speaks to the heart of women around the world. As women we all have memories, we hold dear – a warm embrace, a gentle touch, a deep belly laugh. Leigh Maxwell celebrates these things that make us each wonderfully unique yet unite us.
Jennifer Maxwell, designer behind Leigh Maxwell Jewelry, travelled the world as an international health physician prior to making an unexpected career change. As she collected handmade jewelry throughout her travels, Jennifer discovered her own creative talents and passion for jewelry design. Heavily influenced by the way women adorn themselves in various cultures and throughout time, Leigh Maxwell seeks to provide an outlet for women to express themselves through jewelry that is precious and wearable. These designs express our dreams, our memories and our hearts.
Based in the Midwest, Leigh Maxwell Jewelry was launched in 2017 with a goal of creating pieces of jewelry of exceptional quality that expresses the beauty each of us carries within.
